A Story Waiting to Be Discovered
Every painting begins differently. Inspiration can come from almost anywhere. Sometimes it is a face passing by or a sunset painting the sky in unexpected colours. Other times it is something most people would walk past without a second glance — an old piece of peeling metal, weathered by time, creating a shape, a texture or a story waiting to be noticed.
Sometimes a painting starts with a rough idea lingering somewhere in my mind. Sometimes it starts with nothing at all. Just a blank canvas, a brush in my hand and the curiosity to see what might appear.
As colours begin to flow and shapes begin to emerge, the painting slowly reveals itself. Characters arrive uninvited. Trees grow. Cats appear. Stories unfold where there were none before. I rarely know exactly where a painting is going when I begin, and that is part of the magic (hmmm… perhaps just a little). The painting tells me what it wants to become. It is as if it was already there I just help it to see the day light.
At first glance, you may see one image. But spend a little time with it and something else begins to happen. You start noticing details that were hidden in plain sight. A face you had not seen before. A quiet gesture. A flower reaching towards the sun. A cat observing the scene. A tree standing tall, as if it has witnessed generations of lives passing beneath its branches.
Much like life itself, a painting is never just one story. It is made of layers, moments, memories and discoveries. There is happiness and sadness, wonder and uncertainty, beginnings and endings. Every person who looks at a painting brings their own experiences, and so every person sees something slightly different.
This print began as one of my original paintings, created through intuition, imagination and a love of storytelling. The story may have started in my studio, but once it enters your home, it becomes yours.
Perhaps it will remind you of a memory you had forgotten or waken a feeling you cannot quite put into words. Or perhaps it will simply become a beautiful companion that reveals something new every time you look at it.
Because art is not only something we see. It is something we experience. It grows with us. And sometimes, the paintings we live with quietly become part of our story.
What Makes It Special
This fine art print is professionally produced from my original artwork, preserving the colours, details and atmosphere of the painting as faithfully as possible.
Created from a hand-painted original, it allows you to bring meaningful art into your home while retaining the character, depth and storytelling of the original piece.
Every print is:
• Created from an original Aga SoVa painting
• Rich in detail, colour and narrative depth
• Professionally printed using high-quality materials
• Designed to inspire imagination and personal reflection
• Suitable for modern and traditional interiors alike
• Carefully packaged for safe delivery
• Created to be enjoyed for years to come
The longer you live with it, the more details you may discover. And those discoveries often become the most meaningful part.
Where It Belongs
A painting does not need to explain itself. Sometimes it simply needs to be there, quietly reminding us to look closer so it belongs anywhere you would like a little more beauty, inspiration, place where the dreams begin…
If You Feel Drawn to Something More Personal
Some stories already exist within my paintings.
Others are waiting to be created. Alongside my print collection, I also create original paintings and bespoke artwork inspired by personal stories, meaningful memories, colours, places and emotions.
If you are looking for something deeply personal and created especially for you, I would be delighted to discuss a commissioned piece. Because the most meaningful art is often the art that reflects something of ourselves.
